Herbert Thacker Bradley, Jr

Herbert Thacker “ Pete” Bradley, Jr., 72, of 195 W. Hwy 74 Rockingham, died Thursday, June 4, 2009 at his home. Pete was born January 30, 1937 in Richmond County, a son of the late Herbert Thacker and Bluebird Rich Bradley. He served his country in the US Air Force, attended Sweet Haven Church and was the former owner and operator of Bradley’s Radiator Service. His wife, Linda Ruth Turner Bradley and a daughter, Vicki Lynn Gaddys, preceded him in death. Surviving are sons, Herbert E. “ Pete” Bradley of Sumter, SC, Tracy Bradley of Hamlet; daughters, Ricka A. Grooms and Rebecca L. Bradley, both of Rockingham; eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday in Richmond County Memorial Park with Rev. Bruce Goodwin officiating. The family will see friends immediately following the service.
