Jerry Curtis Thompson

Jerry Thompson Jerry Curtis Thompson, 73, of Ellerbe passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at his home. Jerry was born September 18, 1942 in Montgomery County, a son of the late Julius and Pauline Morris Thompson. Jerry was a lifetime member of Pee Dee Presbyterian Church, where he served as an elder. Jerry was retired from Huntley Oil and Gas. Surviving are his wife; Marlene Burleson Thompson; sons, Chris and Chad; sisters, Katie White, Peggy Faile; brothers, Carl, Robert and Johnny Thompson. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday at Carter Funeral Home, in Ellerbe with the Rev. Catherine George and Rev. Priscilla Durkin officiating. Burial will follow in Ellerbe Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe and other times at the home of Chris Thompson.
