Sylvia Marie Bradfield DuBois

Sylvia Marie Bradfield DuBois, 92, of Bennettsville, SC, passed away Tuesday, August 09, 2016 at Morrison Manor in Laurinburg, NC. Mrs. DuBois was born October 9, 1923 in Superior, Wisconsin, a daughter of the late Grant A. and Martha A. Clark Bradfield. She was a homemaker and also worked with her husband in the family business. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene A. DuBois, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Surviving are her children, Larry DuBois of Bennettsville, SC, Glenn DuBois of Waterloo, IA, Marty (Gloria) DuBois of Atlanta, GA, Steve (Debbie) DuBois of Sebring, FL, Mickey (Jerry) Walbaum of Unionville, MO; 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Funeral services will be at 2pm Friday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham with Rev. Gary Richardson officiating. Interment will be held later in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Waterloo, IA. The family will see friends from 12:45 to 1:45 PM Friday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham. Memorials may be made to Scotland County Hospice.
