Lewis Allen Billings

Lewis Allen Billings, 49, of Rockingham, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2016 at his home. Lewis was born July 17, 1967 in West Palm Beach, FL, a son of the late Llewellyn Henry and Mary Conti Billings. He was a member of New Beginnings Church and had works as a truck driver for Delco. Surviving are his children, Destiny Chappell ( Kevin) of Ellerbe, Alyssa Billings (Donnell McNeill) of Rockingham; grandchildren, Brookelynn, Kevin, Jr. and Colton Chappell; brother, Dean Morton of Texas, sister, Brandy Shamrock of Virginia; step-mother, Sharon Billings of Moultrie, GA; step-brother, Bishop Wright of Florida; his companion, Missy Barrington and her daughters, Cameron Barrington and Chelsea Barrington, all of Rockingham. A service to celebrate Lewis’s life will be at 2 pm Saturday, August 27, 2016 at New Beginnings Church with Rev. Tony Clark and Rev. Ricky Jacobs officiating. The family will see friends following the service at the church.
