Rae Myrl Nicholson

Rae Myrl Nicholson, 69, of 141 Sloping Curve Dr. Hamlet, died Friday, June 26, 2009 at Hospice Haven. She was born June 29, 1939 in Baltimore, Maryland a daughter of the late Frank Herbert and Virginia Ruth Simpson. She retired from school teaching from Baltimore City Public Schools and later substituted in the Richmond County Schools. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Rockingham. Surviving are son Thomas F. Nicholson III of Cockeysville, MD, daughters Amy Nicholson of New York City, NY and Stacey Nicholson of Lakeville, CT, Sister Sallie Ann White of Wilson, NC, brother Frank H Simpson Jr. of Whiteford, MD, and 2 grandchildren. Services for Mrs. Nicholson will be private. Memorials may be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, 2600 Network Blvd. Suite 300 Frisco, TX 75034.
