Lori Ann Terry Alverson

Lori Ann Terry Alverson, 53 , of Rockingham, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2016 at her home. Lori was born August 13, 1963 in Fairbanks, Alaska, a daughter of Charles Ray and Shirley Ann Lovin Terry. She was a member of Rourk Presbyterian Church in Ellerbe, a graduate of Richmond Senior High School, Class of 1981 and a graduate of Wingate College. She had been employed with Lee Electric in Aberdeen and K2Solutions in Vass. Surviving are her son, Alex M. Alverson of the home; parents, Charles and Shirley Terry of Ellerbe; brother, Brian Terry of Rockingham and sister, Patsy T. Harper of Weaverville. Graveside services will be at 11am Thursday at Rourk Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Rev. John Stone officiating. The family will see friends following the service at the cemetery and at other times at her parent’s home.
