Boyd "Tony" Anthony Braddock

Boyd Anthony “Tony” Braddock, 60, of 153 McQueen St., Rockingham, died Saturday, July 04, 2009 at Firsthealth Richmond Memorial Hospital. Mr. Braddock was born March 14, 1949 in Richmond County, a son of the late Arthur Boyd and Ruth Jenkins Braddock. He was a member of West Rockingham United Methodist Church, Northside Volunteer Fire Department and was a brickmason. Surviving are his wife, Penny Bullard Braddock of the home; daughters, Casey Braddock of Rockingham, Rhea Biggs of Brewerton, NY, Megan Davis of Hamlet; brothers, Stephen Braddock of Hamlet, Michael Braddock of Tampa, FL; sister, Susan Blevins of Cordova; and a grandson. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday at West Rockingham United Methodist Church with Rev. Donald Dawkins officiating, The family will see friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home, following the service and at other times at the home on McQueen St. Memorials may be made to Northside Volunteer Fire Department or to Our Daily Bread Food Bank.
