David Franklin Boyette

David Franklin Boyette, 82, of Rockingham passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at First Health Hospice House. Mr. Boyette was born December 1, 1933 in Richmond County a son of the late Raymond McPherson and Adjie Graham Boyette. Mr. Boyette was retired from J.P. Stevens, was a longtime member of Community Church and a Navy Veteran. He loved to fish, hunt, and play golf. He was a loving, husband, father, grandfather, and brother. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Boyette; sisters, Frances Bryant, Peggy Avin, Sherry Boyette and brothers, Raymond Boyette, Jr., Daniel Boyette. Surviving are son, David Franklin Boyette, Jr. and wife Linda of Rockingham; grandchildren, Sherry Boyette of Rockingham, Gary Boyette of Fayetteville; sister, Ruby Speight of Rockingham, brother Darrell Boyette(Sue) of Anderson, SC, sister-in-law Jean Boyette of Rockingham. A memorial service will be at 4:00 pm Friday, October 7, 2016 at Community Church with, Rev. Chris Young officiating. The family will greet friends following the service at the church and other times at the home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Community Church Scholarship Fund, PO Box 2032, Rockingham, NC 28379 or to your local hospice.
