Pauline McLeod Lyerly

Pauline Elizabeth “Polly” Lyerly, 79, of Norman, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2016 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Polly was born July 15, 1937 in Montgomery County, a daughter of the late Gus and Marie Greene McLeod. She was a member of Norman Presbyterian Church and had retired from Renfro Manufacturing in Star. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Gail Crouch. Surviving are her children, Rita Faye Goodwin of the home, Sandra Dawn Lyerly-Kinder (Ryan) of LaFayette, Indiana, Rev. Christopher Scott Lyerly (Tracy) of Madison, NC; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and her brother, Rayvon McLeod of Troy. Funeral services will be at 11 am Thursday at Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe with Rev. Christopher Lyerly and Rev. Jack Bowling officiating. Interment will follow in Baldwin Cemetery in Norman. The family will see friends from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday at Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe and at other times at the home.
