Billy Wilson Holder

Billy Wilson Holder, 70, of Ellerbe passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at his home. Mr. Holder was born May 10, 1946 in Wilson, North Carolina, a son of the late Mack Holder and Sally Creamer Wilson. He had served in the Army Reserves, was of the Baptist Faith and had retired from CSX Railroad. In addition to his parent’s he was preceded in death by a grandson, Shane Wilson Holder, great granddaughter, Leticia Holder and brother, Larry Holder. Surviving are his wife, Daphene Privette Holder of the home; children, Angela Holder Steadman of the home, Michael Aaron Holder of Kannapolis; granddaughter, Ashley Marie Holder; great grandchildren, Jeffrey, Josephine and Selina Holder and beloved pets, Daisy, Buckwheat and Harriet. A memorial service will be held privately. The family will see friends from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm Saturday at Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe.
