Steven Wayne Allen III

Steven Wayne Allen III, 33, of Advance, NC and formerly of Rockingham passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Baptist Hospital. Steve was an employee of Lanier Hardware in Lexington. His main love was his daughter Lexi, sports, being at the lake with his mom Debbie and Kevin and spending time with his dad Steve. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Buck and Sarah Covington and Jesse and Jane Morehead. Surviving are his daughter, Lexi Allen of Aberdeen; his parents, Steve and Kathy Allen, and Debbie and Kevin Morehead; paternal grandparents, Steve and Glenda Allen of Rockingham, Helen and Bob Braswell of Charlotte; sister, Susannah Walters and husband Kyle of Mooresville. A Funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm Saturday, December 10, 2016 in the Colonial Chapel of Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham. Burial will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2:45 – 3:45 at the funeral home prior to the service.
