Mrs. Onnie Webb McIntyre Parker, 92, of 603 Gore Dr., Rockingham died Tuesday, August 04, 2009 at the home of her daughter. She was born December 23, 1916 in Montgomery County, a daughter of the late Thomas Green Webb and Sarah Frances Kelly Webb. Mrs. Parker was retired from the textile industry, having been employed with Gilead Manufacturing and United Mills. She was a member of Concord United Methodist Church and attended Rockingham Wesleyan Church. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Thursday, August 6th at Rockingham Wesleyan Church with Rev. Phillip Huber and Rev. Henry Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Concord United Methodist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church and other times at 170 Mill St., Rockingham. Surviving are two daughters, Dorothy Watts and husband Bernie of Rockingham and Joyce Bass and husband Tommy of Robbins; a daughter in law, Doris McIntyre of Rockingham; grandchildren, Jacqueline Preslar, Sharon Bass, Donna White, and Lisa Love; great grandchildren, Brannon Preslar, Brian Preslar, Kevin Richardson, Samantha Martindale, William Martindale, Hayley White, and Hannah White; great great grandchildren, Sarah Beth Wallace, Madison Richardson, Brady Preslar, and Ansley Preslar. Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by husbands, Marshall Smith McIntyre and Floyd Parker; and a son, Marshall Neil McIntyre. Memorials may be made to Rockingham Wesleyan Church, 118 N.
