William Oma "Billy" Raines

William Oma Raines, 64, of Ellerbe passed away Saturday, December 17, 2016. “Billy” was born June 3, 1952 in Richmond county, a son of the late Oma Monroe and Kathleen Raines and step father Grady Holland. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Nelson Raines and sister, Kathy Raines Wilson. Surviving are his son, William Joshua Raines and wife Heather of Ellerbe; grandchildren Carson and Addison Raines. Siblings, Linda Taylor and husband Joey of Rockingham, Susie Raines, Lisa Tingle, and Jimbo Raines all of Ellerbe. Memorial service will he held 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Hawks officiating. The family will greet friends following the service.
