Sherry Barnes Bailey

Sherry Barnes Bailey, 55, of Rockingham, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Sandhills Regional Medical Center in Hamlet. Ms. Bailey was born January 3, 1962 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Edgar Frank and Virginia Smith Barnes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Brandon Burgess, brothers, James Edward Barnes, Donald Franklin Barnes and sister Barbara Barnes Pressley. Surviving are a son, Caleb Bailey of Albertville, AZ and a brother, Daniel Ray Barnes of Rockingham. A service to celebrate Sherry’s life will be at 2 pm Saturday at New Vision Free Will Baptist Church on Rohanen Ave with Pastor Calvin Bean officiating. The family will see friends from 2:30 - 3:00 pm at the church.
