Lois McIntyre Scott

Lois Marie McIntyre Scott, 74, of Ellerbe, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017 at her home. Mrs. Scott was born June 11, 1942 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late William C. and Dolly King McIntyre. She attended Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and had retired from the Russell Group. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Ray, Jim and Joe McIntyre. Surviving are her children, Lynn Scott, Cindy Daly and Billy Scott, all of Ellerbe; grandchildren, Brittany Daly, Keri Daly and Zach Scott; great grandchildren, McKensay Bennett, Sawyer Daly and Jaylah Daly; brothers, William “Toot” McIntyre and Richard McIntyre both of Rockingham and sister, Faye Warner of Rockingham. Funeral services will be at 2pm Tuesday at Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe with Rev. Chris Thornton officiating. Interment will follow in Ellerbe Cemetery. The family will see friends from 5 to 7 pm Monday at Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe and at other times at the home.
