Barbara Jo Payne

Barbara Jo Fisher Payne, 64 of Rockingham, passed away May 23, 2017 at Hospice Haven of Richmond County. She was born July 7, 1952 in Richmond county a daughter of Margaret Fisher and the late Donald Fisher. She was retired from the hosiery industry and attended Cordova Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to her mother are her sons, Charles George Payne, Jr.(Amy), Aaron J. Payne(Kelli) and Reed Hinson; brothers, Donald Fisher(Elizabeth), Tim Fisher(Kim); sisters, Donna Gainey(Mickey) Kim Quick(Travis) Beth Ludlum(Josh); and 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. A Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday at Cordova Baptist Church, with Rev. Doug Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Morven Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:45 - 1:45 pm at the church prior to the service.
