Robert "Bob" Ward Durden

Robert “Bob” Ward Durden, 60, of Rockingham, passed away Sunday, August 13, 2017 at his home. Mr. Durden was born April 19, 1957 in Bethesda, Maryland, a son of the late Dr. Charles Spurgeon and Ruth Ward Durden. He had been employed with Plastek Industries. Surviving are his daughter, Kelly Durden Monroe (Ben) of Ellerbe; grandchildren, Karlee Butler and Benjamin Monroe, Jr; brother, Chuck Durden of Asheville and sisters, Lynda Durden of Ellerbe and Kathy Ingram of Sanford. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham and at other times at the Monroe home in Ellerbe.
