Plumer Keane

Mrs. Plumer Mae Clark Keane, 90, of 1296 Sandhill Rd., Rockingham died Sunday, October 11, 2009 at home. She was born January 6, 1919 in Chesterfield Co., SC, a daughter of the late Elmore and Addie Mae Rainwater Clark. Mrs. Keane was a homemaker. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 14, 2009 in the chapel of Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham with Rev. Butch Park officiating. Interment will follow in New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery in Wallace, SC. Surviving are two sons, Joey Keane of Rockingham and Harold Clark of Hamlet; three daughters, Geraldine Olivera and Mary McDonald, both of Rockingham and Helen Walker of Myrtle Beach, SC; one sister, Lucille Edwards of Rockingham; ten grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. Mrs. Keane was preceded in death by a brother, Eldridge ‘Son’ Clark and a sister, Virginia Clark Edwards. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday evening at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham and other times at 1296 Sandhill Rd., Rockingham.
