Betty Lou Norton

Mrs. Betty Lou Tucker Norton, 82 died Sunday, November 8, 2009 at FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital. She was born December 20, 1926 in Union County a daughter of the late Lonnie and Edna McManus Tucker. She was a member of Cartledge Creek Baptist Church. She also worked as a clerk in retail sales. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Edward Norton in 1972. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Carter Funeral Home Colonial Chapel with Rev. Jason Lutz officiating. Interment will follow at Beaver Dam Cemetery in McColl S.C. She is survived by one son Joseph T. Norton of Rockingham. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
