Mr. William Frazier, 83, died Friday, November 13, 2009 at Morrison Manor in Laurinburg. Mr. Frazier served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was retired from Dupont in Camden, SC. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Monday, November 15, 2009 at Pee Dee United Methodist Church in Rockingham. Interment will be at 2:00 PM Monday in Refuge Baptist Church cemetery in Kershaw, SC. Surviving are his wife, Vera Frazier of the home; daughters, Polly Sturkie, Jane Rhame and son-in-law, Chuck Sturkie, all of Camden; step children, Woody Perkins and wife Ann of Rockingham, and Kay Vredenburg and husband Buddy of Candor; grandchildren, Shannon Sturkie Gardner and husband Mark and Shawn Sturkie ; step-grandchildren, Andrew Perkins, Chasity Dutch and husband Erick, Javier Vredenburg; great grandchildren, Andrew McManus, Josh McManus, and Mary Elizabeth Gardner; step great grandchildren, Ericka Dutch and Breanna Dutch; and one great great granddaughter, Chloe McManus. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Grace Hearon Frazier. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 to 8 pm at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham.
