Moir C. White

Mr. Moir C. White, 87, of 303 Goldleaf Farms Rd. died Monday, June 12, 2006 at his daughter’s home in Derby. Mr. White was born February 18, 1919 in Coalwood, West Virginia, a son of the late Joseph and Lula Tilley White. He was a retired farmer and construction worker and enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He was a good father, grandfather and PaPa to his family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Katie Mae White, his brothers, Maurice White, Roy White and a sister, Delphia Carter. Surviving are his daughters and sons in law, Betty and Paul Wilson, Jr. of Ellerbe, Margaret and Edwin Richardson , all of Ellerbe, son and daughter in law, Joe Bill and Elaine White of Rockingham, grandchildren, Randy and Sherry White of Asheboro, Jamie Hinson of Gainesville, GA, Teresa Hulon and David Lampley of Rockingham, Bryan and Karen Wilson of Derby, Eddie Richardson of Ellerbe, Shelia and Todd McInnis of Norman and Kristi and David King of Riverside, Ala., great grandchildren, Ethan Hulon , Christopher White and Thomas Lampley, all of Rockingham, Chase Wilson and Dustin Brown of Derby, Samantha McInnis, Maxine McInnis and Lucas McInnis all of Norman, Tiffany Cripps and Samantha Cripps, all of Asheboro. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday at Ellerbe Cemetery with Rev. Tim Hawks officiating. The family will see friends from 6:30 – 8:30 PM Wednesday at Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe and at other times at the Wilson home, 303 Goldleaf Farms Rd.
