Robert G. "Bobby" Eaves

Mr. Robert Garside “Bobby” Eaves, 66, of 206 Ledbetter Road Cordova died Thursday, June 15, 2006 at Britthaven of Hamlet. Mr. Eaves was born October 15, 1939 in Richmond County, a son of the late James Elmer and Ethel Victoria Nuttall Eaves. He retired from Sealed Air as a machine operator. Mr. Eaves was a loving husband, father, and papa to his family. Surviving are his wife Barbara Wilson Eaves of the home, son Tony Eaves of Rockingham daughters, Debra Jean Durden of Naples, FL, Christi Bailey of Hamlet, brothers James E. Eaves of Rockingham, Rudy Eaves of Hamlet, sister Joyce Lisk of Cordova, seven granchildren, four great-grandchildren Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at Carter Funeral Home Colonial Chapel with Rev. Joe Wilkes officiating. Burial will follow at Eastside Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:30 PM Friday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham and at other times at the home on Ledbetter Road.
