Harold Wayne Webb

Harold Wayne Webb, 63, of 182 Old 74 Highway, Rockingham, died Thursday, December 3, 2009 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Mr. Webb was born August 3, 1946 in Richmond County, a son of the late Platt and Alma Diggs Webb. He had served his country in Germany, in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of West Rockingham United Methodist Church and had retired from Vulcan Materials in Rockingham. Surviving are his wife, Betty Hall Webb of the home; sons, Kenneth Webb of Ellerbe, Andy Webb of Rockingham; 6 grandchildren; brother, John Webb of Ellerbe; sisters, Ruth Richardson, Betty Arnette, Libby Monroe, and Linda Davis, all of Rockingham. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday at West Rockingham United Methodist Church with Rev. Don Dawkins officiating. Interment will follow in Ellerbe Cemetery. The family will see friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Saturday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham and at other times at the home.
