Dorothy Brogden Kalber

Dorothy Brogden Martin Kalber, 88, a resident of Autumn Care of Biscoe, formerly of Rockingham, died Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at Autumn Care. Mrs. Kalber was born August 24, 1921 in Dillon SC , a daughter of the late Charles and Willa Brogden. She was a member of Roberdel Baptist Church and a homemaker. Her husbands, Henry Woodrow Martin and Frank Kalber preceded her in death. Surviving are sons, Roy Martin of Ellerbe, Henry W. Martin Jr. and James Martin, both of Rockingham; 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday at Carter Funeral Home Ellerbe Chapel with Rev. Chris Smith officiating. The family will see friends following the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Roberdel Baptist Church, 1123 Richmond Road, Rockingham, NC 28379.
