Glennie Williams Hoffman

Glennie Frances Williams Hoffman, 84 of Raeford formerly of Rockingham died Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at Open Arms Retirement Home. She was born March 3, 1925 in Richmond County a daughter of the late Memory and Flossie Lee Smith Williams. She worked in textiles and retired from Leggs Hosiery. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Rockingham. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 12:00 at the Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Marshall Norris and Rev. Benford Garrison officiating. Interment will follow at Eastside Cemetery. Mrs. Hoffman is survived by one son Gaston David Shepard of Ocean Isle, N.C and one daughter Jean Garrison of Yorkton, Saskatchewan, Canada. One brother Marvin Williams of Asheville and two sisters, Bessie Roller and Rosalie Sanders of Rockingham, 6 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
