Lillie Reynolds

Mrs. Lillie Mabe Reynolds, 81, of 157 W. Page St., Ellerbe died Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at First Health Richmond Memorial Hospital. She was born April 22, 1928 in Stokes Co., a daughter of Lemmie and Lucy Stevens Mabe. Mrs. Reynolds was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Ellerbe and retired from Commonwealth Hosiery. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 pm Friday, February 12, 2010 at First Presbyterian Church in Ellerbe with Rev. James Watson, Rev. Joel Perry, and Rev. Tim Hawks officiaing . The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the fellowship hall of the church and other times at the home. Surviving is a daughter, Mary Shankle and husband Ronald of Rockingham; three sons, Butch Reynolds and wife Linda of Matthews, Ricky Reynolds and wife Tammy of Southern Pines, and Dennis Reynolds and wife Lori of Ellerbe; grandchildren, Andy Reynolds, Emily Reynolds, Melissa Honeycutt and husband James, Christina Smith and husband Mike, Mandi Reynolds, Nick Reynolds, and B. J. Reynolds; an honorary grandson, Ryan Cole; a great granddaughter, Jessica Smith; a sister, Betty Mabe of Ellerbe; brothers, Robert Mabe and Kent Mabe, both of Ellerbe, and Carl Mabe of Rockingham. Mrs. Reynolds was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Reynolds and brothers, Ray Mabe, Dick Mabe, and Guy Mabe. Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, PO Box 116, Ellerbe, NC 28338.
