Alma Jean Vuncannon

Mrs Alma Jean Craddock Dunn Vuncannon 84, of 144 Page St. Ellerbe died Wednesday, August 16th 2006 at Somerset Court Retirement Center in Hamlet. Mrs. Vuncannon was born October 21, 1921 in Stokes County, North Carolina a daughter of the late Hillary and Bessie Frye Craddock. She was a homemaker and was a member of First Baptist Church of Ellerbe. She was preceded in death by her husbands Edd C. Dunn, and Elwen Vuncannon, and a son Johnny E. Dunn. Funeral services will be held Saturday August 19th, 2006 at 11:00am at Carter Funeral Chapel in Ellerbe. Burial will follow at Ellerbe Cemetery. The Rev. Jim Brown will officiate. She is survived by three daughters Barbara D. Fulp and husband Larry of Ellerbe, Diane D. Deese and husband Mike of Rockingham, and Kaye D. Yarborough of Pinehurst. She is also survived by Grandchildren Johnny Fulp, Jeff Fulp, Weston Fulp, Scott Mabe, Katie Yarborough, Haley Yarborough, Megan Davis, Emily McInnis and Jeff Deese. Also her Great Grandchildren Tabitha, Terri, Lauren, Holly and Katlyn Fulp, Morgan and Tanner McInnis. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00-8:00pm at Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe and at other times at the home..
