Nancy Joanne Taylor

Nancy Joanne Taylor, 64, of 314 Wilmington St. Hamlet, died Wednesday, September 6, 2006 at Sandhills Regional Medical Center in Hamlet. Ms. Taylor was born September 2, 1942 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Emory and Minnie Cook Taylor. She had attended Outreach For Jesus and had formerly been employed as a certified nurses assistant. She was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Lee Herndon. Surviving are a son , Robert “ Rocky” Herndon of Fayetteville; brothers, Rex Taylor, Boyd Taylor and Jimmy Taylor, all of Rockingham; sisters, Audrey White of Rockingham and Doris Morrison of Warner-Robbins, GA. The family will see friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Friday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham. Funeral services will be private.
