Betty Allen Goodwin

Betty Allen Goodwin, 74, formerly of Rockingham died Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Triad Care and Rehab in High Point, NC. Mrs. Goodwin was born October 3, 1935 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Leithan Allen and Adell Deese Allen Mercer. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by husband Mitchell Goodwin in 2005 and son Tommy Sanders in 1990. Surviving her are daughters Deborah Clewis and Brenda Delk both of Rockingham, 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham with Myra Green officiating. Concluding service will be private. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham and other times at 194 Sandhills Rd Rockingham
