Ann Gulledge

Elizabeth Ann Mitchum Gulledge, 68, of 131 Keith Ave., Rockingham, died Sunday, May 23, 2010 at Britthaven of Hamlet. Mrs. Gulledge was born August 28, 1941 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Nick and Edna Watts Mitchum. She had been employed with Burlington Industries and for 18 years she had been proprietor and manager of Everett’s Lake Corporation. Surviving are her husband, Ralph Gulledge of the home; son, Johnny Cunningham of Childress, TX; sisters, Faye Simpson of Rockingham, Rachel Sneed of Charlotte, and Christine Speed of Myrtle Beach; 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday in the Colonial Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Russell Edwards and Rev. Donnie Robson officiating. Interment will follow in Eastside Cemetery. The family will see friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Tuesday at Carter Funeral Home and at other times at the home on Keith Ave. Memorials may be made to Harvest Ministries Church, 109 Harvest Church Rd.
