Gladys Frances Scott

Gladys Frances Scott, 88, of 786 Battley Dairy Rd. Rockingham, died Wednesday, September 20, 2006 at Firsthealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst Ms. Scott was born September 12, 1918 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Joseph and Lucy Dean Scott. She was a member of Cordova Pentecostal Holiness Church where she had served as church secretary and had retired from Commonwealth Hosiery in Ellerbe. Surviving is her sister, Flossie Thompson of Hamlet. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 Saturday in the Carter Funeral Home Colonial Chapel with Rev. Thelma Player and Rev. Glenn Taylor officiating. Private interment will follow in the Dean Cemetery. The family will see friends following the service at the funeral home.
