Rachel Bryant Gainey

Ms. Rachel Bryant Gainey, 62 of 111 Keith Ave. Rockingham died Wednesday September 20, 2006 at FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital. She was born August 24, 1944 in Richmond County a daughter of the late Willie and Pinkie Stogner Bryant. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter Jette Gainey, 1 sister Carrie Melton, and 2 brothers Walter Bryant and Billy Bryant. She was a homemaker. A service to celebrate her life will be held Saturday September 23, 2006 at 2:00pm at Carter Funeral Home Colonial Chapel. Pastor Johnny Johnson will officiate. She is survived by 2 daughters Angelina Taylor and husband Mike of Cordova and Crystal Gainey and husband Howard Campbell of Rockingham, 2 sisters Martha Milligan of Rockingham and Catherine Watkins of Rockingham, 3 Grandchildren Amber Gainey, Gavin Taylor, and Charlee Taylor. The family will receive friends Friday at Carter Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00pm and at other times at her home.
