Robert Patterson Cox

Robert Patterson Cox, 81, formerly of Ellerbe, died Monday, June 21, 2010 in Clovis, CA. Mr. Cox was born September 11, 1928 in Richmond County, a son of the late B.A. and Blanche Patterson Cox. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Ellerbe and had served his country in he US Air Force during the Korean War. He retired from the communication center at Ft. Bragg and was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Walker Cox. Surviving are his daughter, Sandra Kilby of Clovis CA and a granddaughter. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday in Ellerbe Cemetery with Rev. James Watson officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the US Air Force Honor Guard.
