Bobby Harris

Mr. Bobby Harris, 76 of Rockingham died Sunday, July 25, 2010 at Hospice Haven. Bobby was born June 13, 1934 in Richmond County a son of the late David and Corrie Knight Harris. He was a faithful member of the Community Church where he served as Superintendent, Treasure, Sunday School Teacher and was a member of the choir. He was a retired truck driver for Perdue. He was preceded in death in addition to his parents by one daughter Lynn Perkins White in 2008. He is survived by his wife Betty Cox Harris of Meadowview Terrace of Wadesboro. One daughter Cheryl H. Phillips and husband Al of Gadsden, Al; Four grandchildren Amanda White, Kevin Phillips, Nick Perkins and Danielle White; three Great Grandchildren Joey White, Reagan Phillips, and Lauren Phillips. Funeral services will be held Tuesday July 27, 2010 at 11:00A.M. At the Community Church with Rev. Robby Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at Richmond County Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday at Carter Funeral Home from 6:00-7:30 P.M.
