Mary Grace Norton

Mary Grace Norton, 74, of 353 John Webb Rd. Ellerbe, died Sunday , October 22, 2006 at Britthaven of Hamlet. Mrs. Norton was born March 17, 1932 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Raymond and Bessie Crouch Webb. She was a member of Roberdel Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Henry, James and Jessie Webb and a sister, Sarah Bowles. Surviving are her sister Annie Mae Martin with whom she made her home, a brother, John “Jim” Webb of Ellerbe and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday at Roberdel Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Smith and Rev. Jerry Turner. Interment will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 –8:00 PM Monday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham and at other times at the home on John Webb Rd. Ellerbe.
