Charles Woodard Fite

Mr. Charles Woodard Fite 74, of 310 Lakeland Drive Rockingham died Saturday September 4, 2010 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital. Mr. Fite was born April 1, 1936 in Hickman County, Kentucky a son of the late Fred and Panzie Woodard Fite. He served his country in the U.S Air Force. He retired from the Banking Industry where he worked in data processing. He is survived by his wife Judy Fite , one son Troy Fite of Columbia S.C and two daughters Traci Fite Ritchie of Greensboro and Lynn Allison of Jonestown, Texas; two sisters Cona Fite Washburn of Knoxville, Tenn and formally of Rockingham and Marcella Fite Edwards of Greensboro, and five Grandchildren. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Fite will be held at 2:00 P.M Tuesday September 7, 2010 at Carter Funeral Home Colonial Chapel with Rev. Kelley Groce officiating. Interment will be private at a later date. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
