Connell Crisco Wilkerson

Mrs. Connell Crisco Wilkerson, 82, of 275 Old Wix Road, Rockingham died Thursday, September 16, 2010 at her home. She was born April 29, 1928 in Jeff Davis County, Georgia, a daughter of the late Lewis A. and Lucille Manning Crisco. She retired from Abbott Laboratory in Laurinburg and was a member of Faith Free Will Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband William John Wilkerson in 1998 and a son William Thomas Wilkerson in 1992. She is survived by her son Randy Wilkerson of Mebane, daughter Lucille Snipes of the home, a brother Ervin Crisco of Oklahoma City, Ok. , 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Sunday at 2:00 P.M at Faith Free Will Baptist with the Rev. Terry McDaniel and Rev. David Lee officiating. Interment will follow at Eastside cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00-8:00 PM at Carter Funeral Home of Rockingham and at other times at the home. Memorials may be made to Liberty Hospice, 921 E.
