Mitchell Dolan Webb

Mitchell Dolan Webb, 72, of 130 Mitchell Ave. Rockingham died Sunday, November 12, 2006 at his home. Mr. Webb was born September 3, 1934 in Richmond County, a son of the late Elmer Arthur and Alma Lisk Webb. He was a member of Mount Carmel Free Will Baptist Church and the owner and operator of Big K LP Gas Company. Mr. Webb is survived by his wife Myrtle Heatley Webb of the home, their children, Pam Gibson and husband George, Stephen Webb and companion Linda Duncan, Timothy Webb and wife Sylvia, Randy Webb and companion Sandy Johnson, Sharon Webb and companion Kenny Caulder, all of Rockingham, grandchildren, Jamie Webb and wife Sheila, David Webb, Shavone Gibson, Krista Webb, Chelsea Gibson, all of Rockingham, Karrah Darling and husband Daniel of Winston Salem, Jeremy Gibson of Southern Pines, great grandchildren, Christian Webb, Ashton Webb and his heart Baylee Webb, all of Rockingham. Also surviving are brothers, Henry Webb, Herbert Webb and Charles Webb, all of Rockingham, sisters, Hazel West of Sarasota Fl and Carolyn Gulledge of Rockingham Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Royce Honeycutt and Rev. Frank McQuage officiating. Interment will follow in Chappell Cemetery in Ellerbe. The family will see friends from 5:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham and at other times at the home on Mitchell Ave.
