Sharon Levander Blue

Mrs. Sharon Levander Blue 54, of Rockingham died Sunday, October 31, 2010 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital. Sharon was born September 9, 1956 a daughter of Laura Mae Brown and the late Arvid W. Levander. She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church and a member of the ladies auxiliary of East Rockingham Fire Department. She drove a school bus for the Richmond County School system. She was also an avid supporter of the Richmond County Booster Club as a director. In addition to her Mother she is survived by her husband James “Macom” Blue Sr. one son James “Jamie” Macom Blue Jr. of Rockingham, one daughter Laura Ann Blue Parks and husband Steve of Alexandria, La, one sister Diane Rogers and husband Jim of Shallotte and one Grandchild Hailey Grace Blue, and her Step-Father Billy C. Brown and a love of her life her dog Maggie. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 4, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Pine Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Corey Wilson, Rev. Wayne Tuttle, and Rev. Ernie Walters officiating. Interment will follow at Eastside Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Carter Funeral Home of Rockingham and at other times at the home of her Mother at 145 Keith Ave. Rockingham.
