Donnie English

Ms. Donnie English, 94 of Rockingham died Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at Rockingham Manor. Ms. English was born November 21, 1915 in Chesterfield County S. C., a daughter of the late Alex and Minnie Chavis English. She retired from Ledbetter Mfg. Company after 50 years of service. She was a member of Ledbetter United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 5, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Carter Funeral Home Colonial Chapel with Rev. Gary Lucas officiating. Interment will follow at Eastside Cemetery. She is survived by two sons, Bobby L. Elmore of Rockingham and William H. Elmore of Murfreesboro Tennessee, three Grandchildren and three Great Grandchildren. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and at other times at her son’s home at 110 Homeward Drive.
