Joanne Miller Tilley

Mrs. Joanne Marie Miller Tilley, 60 of 896 U.S. Hwy #1 North died Sunday, November 14, 2010 at her home. Mrs. Tilley was born October 12, 1950 in Richmond County a daughter of the late Chester Theodore Johnson and Verla Mae Miller. She was a cafeteria worker at Richmond Senior High School; she was also a member of the Women of the Moose 2284 of the Rockingham Moose Lodge and was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her husband Jerry Tilley of the home and one son Jerry Tilley II of Hamlet, two daughters Patricia Miller of Hamlet and Angie M. Tilley of Rockingham, one sister Linda M. Maldonado of Rockingham, and three grand children. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday November 17, 2010 at Carter Funeral Home Colonial Chapel with Rev. June Grant officiating. Interment will follow at Ellerbe Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham from 6:00-8:00 P.M. and at other times at the home.
