Gloria Farmer Mitchum

Gloria Farmer Mitchum 63, of 296 Mill Rd. died Monday, November 29, 2010 at St. Joseph of the Pines. She was born February 21, 1947 in Richmond County a daughter of the late Walter and Kathleen Herndon Farmer. She was a housewife. She is survived by two daughters, Susan Swift of Sophia, and Sharon Parnell of Rockingham and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 2, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Carter Funeral Home Colonial Chapel with Rev. Joe Wilkes officiating. Interment will follow at Richmond County Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
