Victoria "Vicky" Hall Walters

Victoria (Vicky) Hall Walters, 81, of Carolina House in Lexington, formerly of Rockingham, died Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Lexington Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Walters was born June 21, 1929 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Clyde and Sally Purvis Hall. She had retired from textiles and was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Ethridge Walters and a son, Jerry Walters. Surviving are her sons, Samuel Walters of Winston Salem, Keith Walters and Rev. Charles Walters, both of Lexington; a daughter, Linda Woodsby of Conover; brothers Dock Hall and Mike Hall, both of Rockingham; sister, Christine McIver of Rockingham; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday in the Colonial Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park. The family will see friends from 9:30 – 11:00 am Monday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham.
