James Stuart Pace, 47, of 145 Memory Lane, Rockingham died Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at First Health Richmond Memorial Hospital in Rockingham. He was born January 6, 1959 in Wake Co., a son of Juanita Albright Pace and the late Charles Wayne Pace. Mr. Pace was employed with Pepsi Bottling Ventures in Rockingham for twenty seven years, having last worked as a Pre-sales Account Manager. He was a member of Boyd Lake Rd. Church of Christ in Hamlet. Mr. Pace was an avid hunter and loved to fish. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Friday, December 8th in the chapel of Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham with Minister David Carter officiating. Interment will follow in Richmond Memorial Park. Surviving are his wife, Patricia Hughes Pace of the home; two daughters, Betty Jo Oliver and husband Wayne and Amanda Hart and husband Daniel; his mother, Juanita Pace; three grandchildren, Garrett Gardner, Austin McLean Hart, and Riley Pace Hart; two brothers, Freddy Pace and wife Wanda and Chris Pace; two nieces, Courtney Brown and husband Kenny and Lauren Pace; two nephews, Kendall and Cody Pace, all of Rockingham. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 to 8 pm at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham and other times at the home on Memory Lane.
