Grover Clayton Snyder

Grover C. Snyder Grover Clayton Snyder, 84, of 240 Wallace Rd. Ellerbe, died Sunday, January 7, 2007 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Mr. Snyder was born September 1, 1922 in Randolph County, a son of the late George Clayton and Ila Capel Snyder. He was an active member of First United Methodist Church Ellerbe and had retired from Randolph County Schools Maintenance Department. He was a graduate of Ellerbe High School, Class of 1940. Surviving are his wife Dorothy Allred “ Dot” Snyder of the home, two brothers, Graham and Charles Snyder both of Ellerbe. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday at First United Methodist Church in Ellerbe with Rev. Donald Daniel officiating. Interment will follow in Ellerbe Cemetery. The family will see friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday at Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe and other times at the home on Wallace Rd.
