Annie Roberts Stogner

Annie Roberts Stogner, 86, of 710 Dogwood Lane, Rockingham, died Thursday, February 15, 2007 at Firsthealth Richmond Memorial Hospital in Rockingham. Mrs. Stogner was born July 31, 1920 in Chester County, SC a daughter of the late James and Annie Mae Clack Roberts. She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church and had retired from Beaunit Mills. She was preceded in death by her husband James Wilber Stogner, and her brothers, Ernest and Harold Roberts. Surviving are her son and daughter in law, W. Earl and Joyce Stogner of Lewisburg, PA, her daughter and son in law, Linda and Joseph Johnson of Knoxville, TN, grandchildren, Jenny Neff, Jonathan Stogner, James Johnson, Michael Johnson, Marc-Wayne Johnson and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pM Saturday in the Carter Funeral Home Colonial Chapel with Rev. Wayne Tuttle officiating. Interment will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park. The family will see friends from 12:30 – 1:30 PM Saturday at the funeral home and at other times at the home on Dogwood Lane. Memorials may be made to Pine Grove Baptist Church, 275 Airport Rd.
