Mrs. Viola Lambert Terry, 89, a resident of Davis Health Care in Wilmington, formerly of Rockingham, died Monday, March 5, 2007 at Davis Health Care. Mrs. Terry was born February 28, 1918 in Stanley County, a daughter of the late Roy and Lela Tucker Lambert. She was a member of First Pentecostal Holiness Church where she had been part of the Hand Maidens Class and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd L.Terry, and two brothers, Richard and Wilbert Lambert. Surviving are her children, Glenda ( Ted) Aycoth of Rockingham, Bobbie (Dewey) Jones of Alpharetta, Ga and North Myrtle Beach , SC, Peggy (Doug) Murray of Wilmington, Debbie ( Dan) Baker of Wilmington, Lester Terry of Rockingham, Pam T. Kelley of Charlotte, Jimbo Newton of North Myrtle Beach, SC; eleven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; and sisters, Pauline Leviner of Rockingham, and Ann Clark of Wilmington. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday at First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Rockingham with Rev. Mitchell Roller officiating. Interment will follow in Eastside Cemetery. The family will see friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Wednesday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham and at other times at the Aycoth home, 927 Arbor Rd. Rockingham, NC
