Virginia Everhart Mrs. Virginia Gee Everhart, 89, formerly of Parker Lane, Rockingham died Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at First Health Richmond Memorial Hospital. She was born April 12, 1917 in Georgetown, SC, a daughter of the late Blanche Forbes and Gilbert Clinton Gee. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Geneva McDuffie, Katherine, Quick, Dale Sellers, 2 brothers Robert and Marion Gee. Mrs. Everhart was a member of First Baptist Church in Rockingham, a member of the church choir for many years, and a past president of the Baptist WMU. She was retired from the J. C. Penney Co., where she worked in Sales. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 pm Thursday, March 15th at First Baptist Church in Rockingham with Rev. Dr. T. David Phillips and Rev. Delane Burris officiating. Interment will follow at Richmond County Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church and at other times at her brother’s home at 202 Woodland Rd. Rockingham. Surviving is one brother, John W. Gee of Rockingham. Carter Funeral Home of Rockingham is serving the Everhart family.
