Anna Belle Raines

Anna Belle McDonald Raines, 79 of Ellerbe passed away on April 16, 2018 at Hospice Haven. She was born on July 7, 1938 in Richmond County a daughter of the late John and Cora McDonald. She was preceded in death by her brother John William McDonald and her sister, Kathleen McDonald Raines.   Surviving are her husband of 65 years, Clarence Raines, sons, Ricky Raines(Michelle), Jackey Raines(Denise), five grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.   A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 2:00 pm  at the Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe with the Rev. Jason Lutz officiating. Burial will follow in the McDonald Baptist Church Cemetery.   The family will receive friends from 12:45 – 1:45 prior to the service at the funeral home.   Memorials may be made to Richmond County Hospice, 1119 N US Hwy 1, Rockingham, NC 28379.
