Audrey Kirby Lee

Audrey Kirby Lee, a beacon of love and laughter, departed this world on December 19, 2024, leaving behind a legacy that will forever warm the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. Born on October 22, 1967, Audrey lived a life filled with joy, compassion, and an unwavering devotion to her family.

Throughout her life, Audrey was known for her fun-loving spirit and her caring nature. She brought sunshine into the lives of everyone around her, whether it was through a shared laugh, a kind word, or an open-hearted embrace. Her vibrant personality was infectious, illuminating even the darkest days with a warmth and generosity of spirit that were truly remarkable.

Audrey's proudest accomplishment was undoubtedly her family. She is survived by her loving husband, Carl Lee, with whom she shared a deep and abiding love, and their four cherished children: Kelli, Staci, Carl III, and Emily. Each of them carries a piece of her heart and her enduring legacy. With her incredible ability to nurture and uplift, she not only raised her children but also blossomed into a beloved grandmother to thirteen grandchildren, who will forever remember her stories, guidance, and unconditional love.

In addition to her immediate family, Audrey is also survived by her brother, Ryan Kirby, along with four nieces and nephews who were lucky to have her in their lives, drawing from her heartfelt wisdom and joyous spirit.

Sadly, Audrey now joins her beloved parents, Lloyd Eugene "Johnny" Kirby and Carol Faircloth Roebuck, as well as her dear sisters, Angela Kirby Snead and Courtney Kirby, in eternal rest. Their spirits live on in the memories they each created together, their legacies intertwined in a tapestry of love and laughter that will be cherished for generations.

Memorial service will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024 at 2pm in the Carter Funeral Home Colonial Chapel. Family will receive friends from 12:45pm ~ 1:45pm prior to the service.
